scans (the digital images, graphics, resulting
from a scanning process)
and the single physical banknotes (until
they get sold). The person who purchases
a banknote from me does not automatically get to
own the digital scan (image) of
the particular banknote that he has purchased
from me, that is, unless he/she
makes their own scan of it. After a sale of a
banknote I still keep the right to the
scanned image of that particular banknote and I
keep the right to display it in my
public gallery. I display my scans free of any
cost to the public. I may sell my
scanning labour to certain organisations,
companies or other entities, such as
publishing houses etc. (sell a digitally scanned
image of any banknote that I
currently possess of at an established by us cost
of scanning labour). I reserve the
right to refuse service to most individuals and
entities that may use my scans in an
improper way. By providing my scanning labour at
cost or by publically and freely
displaying all the banknotes on my website I do
not transfer any copyright rights to
the new owner of the digital image (scan). New
owner of the physical banknote does
not either own any copyright on the banknote.
They own the physical banknote, but
not necessarily the copyright on the design of
the banknote. I do not either own the
design nor the actual copyright of the banknote
designs. Actual copyright of all
the banknotes on Banknotes.com belongs to
their issuing banks, authorities
and/or authors and/or designers of the
banknotes and their designs. |

banknotes that are displayed in my gallery, store
and Banknotes.com as a whole. It
may be illegal to try to cash some of the
banknotes you purchase from me, because
some of the banknotes I sell (as noted in
my store/pricelist) are non-negotiable (not
real currency) and some banknotes I sell
are obsolete (out of circulation).
