Consecutively running black horizontal and vertical red serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Vertical, segmented windowed 3 mm wide metallic security thread with demetalized text "BAHAMAS". Sparsely scattered security fibers, denomination 1/2, vertical serial number, a large gecko lizard and Straw Market background behind Sister Sarah that fluoresce while being exposed to an ultraviolet light.
