Front: Map of the Central African States. Herdsman. Zebus and goats. Reverse: Kota mask. Antelopes. Baobab tree (Adansonia digitata). Watermark: The herdsman. Security features: Two oppositely located, consecutively running, black, horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Invisible colored filament fibers (hairs) and the "BEAC" logotype (on the back) fluorescing under ultraviolet light. Solid, vertical, embedded 1/2 mm wide metallic security thread. Raised ink. Main colour: Brown. Artist: Pierrette Lambert. Engraver: Pierrette Lambert. Signatures: Jean-Félix Mamalepot (Le Gouverneur, July 1990 - April 2007); Louis Aleka-Rybert (Un Censeur). Printing method: Intaglio. Issuer: Bank of Central African States (BEAC). Date of Issue: 2000. First two digits of a serial number indicate the last two digits of the year of issue. Withdrawn: 2002.
