Front: Portrait of Sun Yat-sen (1866-1925). Back: Dacheng Hall, the main hall of Confucius Temple in Qufu, Shandong Province, which is called
one of the "Three Great Halls in the East". Confucius was also known as Kong Fuzi, Kong Qiu and Kongzi. Watermark: Sun Yat-sen portrait in
profile with the denomination numbers "50" under his portrait; Intertwined dome-shaped pattern at the upper and at the lower edges of the banknote.
Security features: Running serial numbers. Watermark. Coloured non-fluorescent fibres at the centre of the front of the banknote. Main colours:
