Rhumel river ravine in Constantine and the footbridge of Sidi M'Cid. Amphora and an ancient column. Watemark: Vertically repeated portrait of Abdelkader El Djezairi (Abd El-Kader Ben Muhieddine; Emir Abdelkader). Security features: Watermark. Consecutively running black horizontal serial and block numbers on one side of the banknote. Vertical, solid, embedded, 1/2 mm wide security thread bearing repeated text "BC ALGERIE" fluorescing in pink on both sides of the banknote while being exposed to an ultraviolet light.
