Front: Effigy of the Queen Elizabeth II wearing a crown. Monarch butterfly (Danaus plexippus) sitting on a Swamp Milkweed (Asclepias incarnata) flower. Hanging blossoms of a Fuchsia fulgens flower. Holographic foil strip over a clear window depicting turtle, fish, hummingbird and Fuchsia flowers. Eastern Caribbean Central Bank building (Basseterre, St. Kitts). Reverse: Map of the Eastern Caribbean. Government House in Montserrat. Fragrant Nutmeg (Myristica fragrans) on the island of St. Kitts. Shadow image: N/a. Security features: Consecutively running black horizontal and vertical serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Monogram "ECCB", denominational block "20" (front) and parts of the design (back) fluoresce while being exposed to ultraviolet light. Tactile feature: There is a long rectangle-shaped arrangement of impressed ten dots in the top left corner of the obverse to enable physical identification of the note for the visually impaired and the blind people.
