Reverse: Naqsh-e Jahan Square known as Imam Khomeini Square (formerly known as Shah Square) in Isfahan. Watermark: Portrait of Imam Ayatollah Sayyid Ruhollah Mousavi Khomeini. Security features: Security fibres (hairs), parts of the design and the serial numbers fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Segmented vertical 1 mm wide security thread. Consecutively running red horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Tactile feature: There are three intaglio circled dots for the visually impaired people. Signatures: Sig.33: Dr. Tahmasb Mazaheri (Head of the Central Bank, 2007–2008); Davoud Danesh-Jafari (Minister of Wealth, 2005–2008). Predominant colour: Shades of blue. Artist: CBI.
