Front: Stone statue head of Kultegin (Kul Tigin) (685 - 731 CE), as part of Kultegin monument, found buried in 1958 by joint Mongolian - Czechoslovak expedition, broken into two pieces (National Museum of Mongolia). Top of the spear of the "Kazak Eli" monument with the sacred bird Samruk in Independence Square in Astana. Flying doves. Kazakhstan National Flag. State Emblem of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Back: Petroglyphs of Turkic soldiers and Turkic scripts on the Kültegin Steles monument of Turkic writing in Mongolia along the Orkhon River. Silver deer statuette, from Turkic period 7th c., National Museum of Mongolia. Motifs of Kazakh national patterns. Watermark: Samruk Bird and electrotype "1000". Security features: Solid, embedded, vertical, 0,75 mm wide, machine-readable MRT-B/M security thread. Second, segmented, windowed 4 mm wide security thread with motion image, with exposure on the obverse. Third, decorative, holographic 12 mm wide security thread with exposure on the reverse. Consecutively running red and black serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Watermarked paper. Red serial number and parts of the (invisible) design on the reverse fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Predominant colour: Gold. Artist: Mendybai Alin (Chief designer of the NBK) and De La Rue design team. Signature: Grigoriy Marchenko (Chairman, 2000-2003, 2010-2013). Printing method: Intaglio.
