and of Lake Malawi. Windowed security thread with demetalized RBM and a holographic stripe depicting a photo of Hastings
Banda, the denomination '1000' and the Reserve bank of Malawi logo. Reverse: Mzuzu maize silos representing the theme of
Sustainable Economic Growth (Agriculture and Food Security). Maize cob on a stalk symbolising the sustained increased
availability of Malawi's staple food crop. Seal of the Reserve Bank of Malawi. Silhouettes of African couple mashing maize with
