Pattern Mangaroa or the Milky Way star constellation "Purapura whetu" (representing the stars) taken from Te Hau ki Turanga meeting house in the Museum of New Zealand Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington. Back: Blue duck or whio (Hymenolaimus malacorhynchos) with three ducklings. Pineapple scrub (Dracophyllum menziesii). Kiokio (Blechnum novae-zelandiae).
