Front: I. T. A. Wallace-Johnson (1894-1965). Ship hangar. Cargo ship. Coat of arms. Back: The Bank of Sierra Leone building in Freetown. Dogon Tellem symbol. Watermark: Head of a lion; Electrotype "2000"; Reinforced cornerstones. Security features: Consecutively running vertical and horizontal black ascending serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Solid, embedded, semi-exposed 1 mm wide vertical security thread. The serial numbers, the colored filament fibres (hairs), the denominational block and some parts of the design fluoresce while being exposed to ultraviolet light. Main colours: Apricot orange and brown. Artist: Unknown. Signature: Sheku Sambadeen Sesay (Governor); Andrina Rosa Coker (Deputy Governor). Issuer: Bank of Sierra Leone. Date of print: 27 April 2010.
