Ornamental guilloche pattern, lathework and lintels throughout the banknote. Reverse: Gold cyanidation leaching plant at the Geita Gold Mine. Rough and cut diamonds. Giraffe's head. Watermark: Three-dimensional portrait of Julius Nyerere; Electrotype 5000. Security thread: Vertical, windowed on the obverse, 4 mm wide plastic security thread, bearing repetitive 'BOT 5000' on it, that has Galaxy® multidirectional motion feature. Tactile feature: Two parallel roof-shaped "Corporal" bent bars on the left hand side above the black serial number. Main colour: Ultra violet purple.
