Front: Portrait of  Mykhailo Hrushevs'kiy (1866–1934). Book "History of Ukraine" written by of  Mykhailo Hrushevsky (Cossack riding a horse). Tryzub (Trident), the national coat of arms of Ukraine. Back: Building of the Central Rada of Ukraine (Council, parliament) in Kyiv (constructed in 1912 by the design of the Kyiv architect P. Alioshyn). Figures of a female peasant and a male worker. Watermark: Portrait of Mikhaylo Grushevs'kiy; Electrotype '50'. Signature: Yakiv V. Smolii (Golova - Governor, 15 March 2018 – 3 July 2020). Dominant colours: Brown and lilac. Security thread: Vertical, solid, fully embedded, metallic, 1,25 mm wide, with demetalized '50 GRN' in Cyrillic script and a Tryzub. Tactile feature: Toothpicks on both ends of the banknote and a dark cyan circle executed in intaglio print. Issuer: National Bank of Ukraine. Date of issue: 20 December 2019. Artist: Unknown.
