Back: Observatory of Ulugh Beg (born as Mirza Muhammad Taraghay bin Shahrukhin) in Samarkand, Uzbekistan. Double arc quadrant. Outline of Uzbekistan in the background. Watermark: Portrait of Mirzo Ulugbek; Electrotype '100000'. Security features: Consecutively running black horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Vertical, solid, fully embedded, 1 mm wide security thread. Another, vertical, windowed (with exposure on the obverse), polymeric, almost 5 mm wide security thread with dynamic effects bearing repeated 'UZB' monograms. The left hand side serial number, coloured filament fibers (hairs) and parts of the design fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Registration device in a form of an astrolabe. Denomination '100000' below the serial number, the tactile feature for the blind, the Sun and some octagonal stars printed with iridescent ink. Tactile feature: Green dot and five green bars under it, executed in intaglio raised print in order to help the blind and the visually impaired people to recognize this particular banknote.
