Front: National coat of arms of Vietnam. Portrait of Ho Chi Minh (1890 - 1969). Lotus flower. Small see-through wndow shaped like a lotus flower. Transparent window with the denomination in it. Reverse: Pavillion in the Imperial City, within the citadel of the city of Huê. Marks for the visually impaired and blind people. Shadow image: Portrait of Ho Chi Minh and electrotype "V N". Security features: Consecutively running red vertical and ascending black horizontal serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Denominational hi-lite block with "50000" at the center of the front of the banknote and the horizontal serial number fluoresce under ultraviolet light. Simulated, fully embedded, dotted security thread bearing '50000' within. Sun-shaped registration device.
