King protea (Protea cynaroides), the national flower of South Africa. Reverse: Agriculture: Afrikaner bull and merino sheep ram, grape, corn, wheat, monkey orange plants. Watermark: Supposed portrait of Jan van Riebeek. Signature: Dr. Christian Lodewyk Stals (President Governor, in office from 8 August 1989 to 7 August 1999). Main colour: Green. Artist: Unknown.
