as an aid for the partially sighted. Reverse: Surface mining industry: Highwall miner (or stationary steam engine, or
a mine hoist), dragline excavator, mine shaft, enclosed headframes and conveyors at an open pit mine. Outline
drawings of round cut brilliant diamond shapes in angled view. Watermark: African elephant; Electrotype "20".
Signature: Tito Mboweni (Governor, in office from 8 August 1999 to 9 November 2009). Dominant colour: Brown
and tan.
Security thread: Windowed, 2 mm wide, with text 'SARB 20'. Iridescent band: Coat of arms and '20'.
