Hourglass and a heart shaped vase with flowers in it. View of medieval Rotterdam. Back: Stylized bird. Guilloche pattern, denominational rosettes on engraved background. Watermark: Greek god Hermes (Roman god Mercury). Artist: Joseph Ferdinand ' Eppo' Doeve (sketch). Signatures: Adriaan Marie de Jong (Secretaris, 1947–1960s); Marius Wilhelm Holtrop (President, 1946–1967). Main colour: Brown. Place and date of issue: Amsterdam, 2 February 1953.
