It symbolises prosperity and fruitfulness in African mythologies. Health and Education in West Africa: Terrestrial geographical globe, books, chalk writing board, red cross, pharmacy symbol of a snake coiled around a cup, a.k.a. Caduceus medical symbol or a bowl of Hygeia with the serpent of Epidaurus. Back: Two Dromedary camels (Camelus dromedarius) in a desert of Sahel region. Watermark: Stylised sawfish; Electrotype "1000". Signatures: Tiémoko Meyliet Koné (Le Gouverneur) Lassine Bouare (Le Président du Conseil des Ministres). Dominant colours: Red-brown and salmon pink.
