500 Shillings 2019 (Front: Jomo Kenyatta statue and Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi with Mount Kenya in the background. Coat of arms. Head of a lion (Panthera leo). Back: Tourism and wildlife: coconut palm trees and tourist infrastructure, elephants and giraffes in Maasai Mara National Reserve. Head of a lion. Dove of peace. Watermark: Head of a lion. Consecutively running ascending red vertical and black horizontal serial numbers on the obverse side of the banknote.
