Coat of arms depicting Dodo (Raphus cucullatus), Sambar deer (Rusa unicolor), lymphad, palm trees, sugar cane, key. Back: Sailing boat, Lion Mountain or Montagne de Lion and the Monument to the Dutch Sailors' First Landing (in 1598) at the bay of Vieux Grand Port near Mahébourg, Isle de France (now Mauritius).
