10 Pounds March 2017 (Front: Tebeldi (Tabaldi) an African Baobab tree (Adansonia digitata). Clasped hands. Taka mountain peaks in Kassala, Sudan. Nomad desert camel dressed up like a coach. Back: CBOS emblem. People's Palace in Khartoum, executive headquarters of the national government. Residential neighbourhood housing. Watermark: Secretarybird (Sagittarius serpentarius); Electrotype "10". Security features: Latent image (CBS). Running black horizontal duplicate serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. 10 mm wide holographic strip and the coloured filament fibers (hairs) that fluoresce yellow, blue and red under ultraviolet light. Solid, vertical, windowed on the reverse, 2 mm wide metallic security thread with demetalized "CBS 10" (also in Arabic script) text repeated.
