De La Rue’s Active™ vertical, segmented windowed reverse-exposed 4 mm wide security thread, bearing demetalized text "10" and an image of the "Sand Dollar". When the note is tilted, the colours of the sand dollar and the number 10 in the thread switch from light on dark to dark on light. Sparsely scattered almost non-existent security fibres, denomination "$10" as well as block 10, the coat of arms, parts of the reverse design such as flamingos etc., the security thread (front only) and the vertical serial number fluoresce while being exposed to an ultraviolet light.
