1 Baht (1948) (Front: His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej (1927 - 2016) also known as King Rama IX, the ninth monarch of Thailand of the Chakri dynasty, depicted in uniform without collar insignia. Phra Samut Chedi Temple with the Stupa of Samut Prakan built by King Rama II, at Pak Khlong Bang Pla Kot, on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, opposite Samut Prakan City Hall. Garuda - large legendary humanoid bird creature - national emblem. Royal emblem - Tricephalic elephant arms featuring mythological three-headed elephant Erawan (Airavata, Ayarapot). Back: Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall from the south, a royal reception hall within Dusit Palace in Bangkok, among guilloche design, featuring palm tree fronds. Watermark: Vessel of the Constitution: The Book of the Constitution on top of two Royal chalice vessels. Security features: Running serial numbers in black, on the front of the banknote, in both, Latin and Thai scripts. Coloured filament fibres (hairs) mostly located at the centre obverse of the banknote. Main colour: Dark blue.
