Watermark: Zimbabwe Bird; Electrotype denomination "500" (error, one zero too much) positioned vertically. Security features: Watermark. Consecutively running black horizontal serial number positioned on the lower right corner of the obverse of the banknote. Vertical, latent (solid), embedded, 1 mm wide metallic security thread with demetalized "RBZ 500" erroneously, wrong denomination, repeated on it.
