1 Pound Sterling 2.1.1947 – The Commercial Bank of Scotland Limited (Front: Portrait of Henry Thomas Cockburn of Bonaly, Lord Cockburn (1779–1854), was a Scottish lawyer, judge and literary figure, depicted in a cameo. Allegorical women half lying down, symbolizing Agriculture and Navigation, supporting wrapped around by thistles of Scotland coin-cameo, which depicts portrait of an allegoric female symbolising Caledonia, in profile.
