Tactile feature: Two green intaglio circle dots in the upper right corner of the obverse, positioned vertically. Security features: Holographic octagon OVD (Optically Variable Device) identifying the banknote's denomination. Consecutively running ascending black horizontal and ascending brown vertical serial numbers on the obverse of the banknote. Invisible security fibers (hairs), the hi-lite denomination '5' block, the serial numbers, the embossed flag bearing a stylized head of a lion and parts of the design fluoresce while exposed to an ultraviolet light. Solid, vertical, windowed on the reverse, 3 mm wide metallic security thread with demetalized "SINGAPORE $5" (also in Chinese characters) text repeated. Raised ink. See-through register.
